Uniform

Uniform shows that we are in a community. Wearing it says we’re all in this together.

All uniform must be worn by all children. It must be clearly labelled with the child’s name. All children must change into the required PE kit for PE lessons. All of our uniform items can be bought from big supermarkets and uniform shops.

Uniform guidance

All items of school uniform must be clearly labelled with the child’s name.

Jewellery must not be worn except for one pair of stud earrings. This is for everyone's safety. These must be removed for PE by parents prior to the start of the PE day.

Children should not bring any type of bottle to school with them. They will be provided with a school water bottle.

When sunny, children should come to school with a sun hat and wearing sun cream.

Children should bring their Book Bag (provided by the school) with them every day.

We allow standard non-smart watches to be worn, but the academy takes no responsibility for them and they must be removed for PE lessons. Watches that are deemed to be a distraction cannot be worn.

Small hair accessories can be worn but they must be linked to our academy colours (blue or white).

Children should not come to school wearing lanyards or with teddies or keyrings hanging from their clothing.

Other useful equipment

A suitable coat

Hat, scarf and gloves (for when the weather is cold)

Book bag (the first of these will be provided by school)

Sun hat (for when the weather is hot)

Sun cream (children will be required to apply this themselves).
